If you want to install outdoor blinds on your home, then you might have decided to order a custom build. That's because off-the-shelf products might not meet your design preferences or your window sizes. However, before you choose a supplier, draw up a shortlist of companies that can meet your needs. 1. Can They Meet Your Requirements?

Think about how quickly you want your blinds in place. Ask potential suppliers about their average lead times. If your first choice can't supply your blinds quickly enough, then you'll either have to accept a longer wait or move down your shortlist and look at other suppliers.

Bear in mind that suppliers who make their own custom blinds might be the best bet if you want a quick solution. They won't have to wait for their manufacturer to complete your order but can do it themselves. Your blinds might be finished and delivered faster.
